A big Vinaka vakalevu to the great team at the Pacific-Community-SPC and the ACP-EU European Union in the Pacific grant scheme for what has been a great eye opener. The Monitoring and Evaluation workshop gave us all a greater understanding of the results based matrix and necessary monitoring tools to help in the management of our projects.

#PacificPeoples | Grantees of the first and second rounds of the African Caribbean Pacific – European Union in the Pacific (ACP-EU) Creative and Cultural Industries in the Pacific (CCI) grant scheme today commenced a two-day monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) capacity-building workshop in Suva, Fiji.
The workshop is aimed at helping grantees to better understand the contributions of their respective project undertakings under the grant scheme to objectives outlined in the Pacific Regional #Culture Strategy, SPC’s Strategic Plan and the Human Rights & Social Development Division’s Business Plan. The Fiji-based grantees are from Film Fiji, iTaukei Trust Fund, Marau Ukulele’s, Motiv8 Productions Fiji and Tabs Investment. The workshop will also help the grantees develop a results’ matrix for monitoring and reporting, and also aid them in responding to the MEL needs of the ACP-EU grant scheme.
